Vineet Gupta: Director of Strategic Initiatives
Vineet Gupta is a strategic growth leader and Head of Strategic Initiatives at Sunray Academy of Canada, where he supports the school’s mission to illuminate potential through leadership, connection, and purpose-driven learning. In this role, Vineet helps scale operational impact and strengthen Sunray Academy’s growth and community presence through data-driven planning.
A founder and entrepreneur with more than 28 years of experience, Vineet began his career in India’s media industry, holding leadership roles across STAR India, ZEE Telefilms, ABP Network, and Reliance Entertainment. He led major revenue functions, launched new channels, and built large teams and systems from the ground up. His strengths in go-to-market strategy, branding, revenue optimization, and market expansion established him as a trusted architect of growth in competitive and high-growth environments. His role at Sunray Academy of Canada supports multiple areas of the business and he has a strong interest in advancing education; Vineet personally holds a PGDM in Management from SCMHRD (Symbiosis), and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Kurukshetra University.
In 2015, Vineet transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding multiple ventures including Acme Media Creations, Daksha Skill Development, and Catalyst Consulting—each designed to deliver measurable business outcomes through innovative communications and technology. In 2021, he expanded Catalyst’s operations to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, extending his strategic advisory and global market access to startups and growth-stage companies.
